shine brighter

when it appears that things are not going along swimmingly……

the light shines even brighter :)

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. …
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.  psalm 112: 4, 7

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.  ephesians 3:16-21

First Class

color work – first try

I have begun a wonderful class online – very excited ;
and it has begun with a bit of color exploration – this exercise has helped with discipline , as I easily get distracted with images, colors, etc.

what is bursting from my heart, is how thankful I am to see color – that is first and foremost…..and that there even is color!

And, of course, the color is in the Light – not in the image, or even in the flower or tree – it is in the Light…how it is refracted, absorbed, reflected, etc. –

which is why rainbows are so extraordinary, and fun.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,
hath shined in our hearts, to give the light
of the knowledge
of the glory
of God
in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 corinthians 4:6

next up TAST continues! I am catching up!
